About Me Dr .Sandeep Kumar Kar is an anesthesiologist from Kolkata .He did his schooling from D.M School R.I.E Bhubaneswar, MBBS from N.R.S MEDICAL COLLEGE KOLKATA, currently final year Postgraduate trainee M.D Anesthesiology in I.P.G.M.E& R KOLKATA. Represented India in World Anesthesia Congress in Rome with 3 research papers, in April 2011. Won the best paper award JANAK MEHTA AWARD in cardiac anesthesia in feburary 2011. Best poster award in cardiac anesthesia in IACTA 2011 BANGLORE. He has participated and presented numerous research papers in anesthesiology both national and international conferences. Won the prestigious JANAK MEHTA BEST PAPER AWARD for the paper Effect of Prophylactic Amiodarone in patients with Rheumatic Mitral Valve disease undergoing Mitral Valve replacement surgery, presented at the 14th National conference of Indian Association of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologists held at Bangalore in February 2011.(IACTA-2011) 3.
